Real Estate Management (UK) Limited (REM) has appointed Paul Welterveden as Development Director.
Paul will have overall responsibility for all property development projects which REM are tasked to oversee and or work-up with a specific mandate to oversee the construction of Shard Place, the final residential element of Renzo Piano’s “trilogy” at London Bridge Quarter which currently includes The Shard and The News Building.
Paul joins from Lodha Developers UK Limited where he was the Head of Development for the London business. He has over 25 years’ experience in the central London real-estate market, having held senior management positions for several prominent London real estate companies, including Land Securities Plc and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Paul’s extensive experience includes leading and managing significant and complex mixed use commercial and residential developments in central London. He has been involved in land acquisitions, planning projects, joint venture structuring, financing, delivery, development leasing and sales.
